Wesley D. Sheffield, 40, of Farnam died Dec. 15, 2002, at his home.

He was born June 10, 1962, in Gothenburg to Roland and Janice Widick Sheffield. He graduated from Farnam High School in 1980.

On Jan. 1, 1990, He married Laurie Dail Tickle in Farnam. Mr. Sheffield worked at the Farnam Farmland Coop for the past eight years. He enjoyed team roping and raising quarter horses.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Erin and a son, Ryan, both at home; his parents; a brother, Mark (Miquon) Sheffield; a sister, Ann (Matthew) Aden, all of Farnam.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A memorial has been established.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Nazarene Church in Farnam with the Revs. Harold Ellis and Tom Huffman officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday at Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg is in charge.
