James L. Robinson, age 78, veteran of the Civil War and one of the early settlers in Nebraska, passed away at his home here this morning about six o’clock. Mr. Robinson has been ill for months, but it was not generally supposed that he was in a critical condition until last evening when a change came for the worst.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. W. E. Palmer Interment at the Farnam cemetery.
