The Farnam Echo 42(30):5 Thursday, May 30, 1929
Mr. Preston, one of Farnam’s pioneer residents, passed away early Tuesday morning. Mr. Preston had been in failing health for a number of years, and this spring since his return from Florida, where he spent the winter, has been unusually feeble. He was down town the latter part of the week, and his sudden death came as a shock to the community.
