Elvin Francis Peirsol, the son of George and Gertrude Peirsol was born November 11, 1904 on a farm near Orafino, Nebraska.

He passed away November 26, 1975 at his home at the age of 71 years and 15 days.

Elvin lived in the Orafino community until November 12, 1932 when he was united in marriage to Pansy Thomalla. He then moved to the Farnam community where he and Pansy lived their entire married life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Cecil.

Survivors are his wife, Pansy, one son, Keithen of Norfolk, Virginia; one daughter, Marilyn Gardner of Farnam; one brother, Vernon, of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Lena Peirsol and Lucille Crisman of Farnam and Dolly Aylsworth of Nampa, Idaho. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 29, 1975 at 2:00 at the United Methodist Church with Reverend Leonard Clark officiating. Pallbearers were Wray Lydic, Richard Derra, Joy Russell, Jess Zysset, Clyde Gardner and Lawrence Oberg.

Music was furnished by Lorraine Oberg and Susan Bick.

Interment was in the Farnam cemetery with McVay Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
