Cecil Theodore Peirsol, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Peirsol was born May 30, 1903 in Frontier county, Nebraska, and departed this life December 18, 1926, aged 23 years, 6 months and 18 days.

He grew to manhood in this vicinity and numbered his friends by his acquaintances. His mother proceeded him to the better world June 11, 1909. He leaves to mourn his departure his father, two brothers, Elvin and Vernon, three sisters, Lena, Lucille and Dollie, five cousins, three aunts and many other relatives and a host of friends. The sympathy of the community goes out to the family in this sad bereavement.

The funeral was held at the home Sunday p.m. and was largely attended. Burial in the Afton cemetery. (Later the remains were moved to Farnam cemetery beside his father and mother.)
