Wilhelmina Teresa 'Minnie' Beisner Patterson
Minnie Beisner Patterson, youngest child of Henry and Dora Beisner, was born near Hebron in Thayer County, Nebraska, March 18, 1881. She passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 21st, at a Gothenburg Rest Home.
When a small child she came with her parents to homestead in Frontier County near Farnam, where she grew to womanhood. On January 3, 1902, she was united in marriage to Lester C. Patterson. To this union was born one daughter, Emma Gewecke.
In 1930, they moved to Gothenburg, where they made their home and where Mr. Patterson passed away on October 17, 1946.
She is the last of her family and is survived only by her daughter, Emma (Mrs. Edgar Gewecke), granddaughter, Elaine Gloe (Mrs. John McKim) of North Plate and two (great) grandchildren, Linda and Larry McKim.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in the McVay-Olesen Chapel, with Rev. Clarence Buehler, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Bernard Ristine was soloist, with Mrs. Katharine Wiederanders as his accompanist. Pallbearers were James Nichols, Earl Thomalla, John Buhr, Martin Sommer, Arthur Clouatre, and Paul Farnstrom. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.
