Sara Jeannette Parker, 92, of North Platte, died Saturday at a North Platte nursing home.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, May 26, 1987, at the Farnam Cemetery with Rev. Michael Churchman of St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Lexington officiating. Burial was in the Farnam Cemetery.

Sara Parker was born Jan. 21, 1895, in Farnam, the daughter of Samuel and Minnie (Tufts) Parker. She grew up in the Farnam area and was married to Charles Burr Parker in 1917. She moved to North Platte in 1983. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and the Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include two daughters, Georgeann (Mrs. Robert O.) Young of North Platte, and Dorothy Beryl Stovall of Kearney; one sister, Louise Lindvall of North Platte; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1958, two sons and one sister.
