OGALLALA — Funeral services for Raleigh M. Palmer, 72, who died in an Ogallala hospital on Thursday will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Ogallala Congregational Church with the Rev. Louis Poppe officiating.

Born Feb. 8, 1894 in Moorefield, he was a retired contractor and had lived in Ogallala for the past 38 years.

He was a member of the Congregational Church and was a charter member of the Ogallala Elks Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Alice; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Roberts, Englewood, Colo.; and Mrs. Sarah Lintz, Ogden, Utah.

Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery at 4 p.m. Monday.

Draucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
