Mrs. Albert Oman
Eva Tamer Clement was born at Humboldt, Nebraska, on November 19, 1886, and departed this life at her home in Eustis on February 27, 1947, at the age of 60 years, 3 months and 8 days.
She had not been in the best of health for several years, her condition becoming worse five weeks ago. All that loving hangs could do was done, but her Lord had called her home.
She was a member of the Farnam Baptist church having been baptized there on January 21, 1906. She had retained her membership in that church until her death. She was a faithful and active member in both the Sunday school and church at Farnam, and since going to Eustis six years ago, she taught in the Methodist Sunday school until illness forced her to quit.
On February 20, 1907, she was united in marriage to Albert Eric Oman. To this union three children were born: Ethel May, who preceded her in death in 1919, Raymond of Eustis and Rex of North Platte.
Eva, as she was familiarly known by her many friends, endeared herself by her sweet Chrisitan spirit, being always sympathetic and helpful. The world is a better place because of her having lived here.
She leaves to mourn her passing beloved husband Albert; two sons, Raymond and Rex; her aged mother, Mrs. Sarah Clement of North Platte; two daughter-in-laws; three granchildren, Bob, Dick and David; one sister, Mrs. O. C. Oman of Gothenburg; five brothers, Oliver of Antioch, Calif., Peter of Taft, California, Claude of Farnam, Charles of Humboldt, William of North Platte an a host of other relatives and friends. Her father, two sisters and one brother have preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Eustis, conducted by Rev. E. C. Barton, former Baptist minister in Farnam but now of Platte Center.
Interment was in Farnam Cemetery beside the daughter.
