Harry Alton Nickerson was born June 20, 1870 at Mountville, Ohio, and departed from this life October 3, 1934 at the George Shelly home, near Stockville, where he had made his home the past year.

Mr. Nickerson came to Frontier county when he was fifteen years old. He moved to Maxwell, Nebr., in 1897 or 1898 where he lived several years. He left Maxwell going to Ohio, where he worked until his health failed.

Mr. Nickerson will be remembered by all who made his acquaintance as a true friend ready to help and cheer others in spite of his ill health, which caused him to spend much of his life in hospitals.

He leaves to mourn his death, one sister, Mrs. Maude Hays, Eagle Rock, Calif., four sisters and four brothers having preceded him in death, several neices and nephews and a host of friends survive him.

Funeral services were held at the Farnam cemetery, at 2:30 last Friday afternoon with Rev. C. R. Tanner in charge.
