A long time resident of Gothenburg, Elma E. Nickerson, 70, died Friday, October 8, 1976 in a Gothenburg hospital. She was born at Orafino June 29, 1906.

Mrs. Nickerson is survived by a son, Cliff (Pearl), of North Platte; two daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Barbara) Sherlock of North Platte and Mrs. Ralph (Madie) Widick of Farnam; a brother, Clyde Rosenfelt of Norman, Okla; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church of Farnam with the Reverends Hugh H. Houchin and Leonard E. Clark officiating.

Burial will be in Farnam cemetery with McVay Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg in charge of arrangements.

Casket bearers were Clinton Nickerson, Gregg Widick, Frank Widick, Brad Nickerson, Robert Meester, Earl Ommert with music being provided by Mrs. Kent Davis.
