Mrs. George W. Messersmith of Mountain Grove, Mo. passed away August 11, at the age of 73. She lived her entire life in the Farnam community, being born at Orafino, Nebraska, until 1939 when she with her husband moved to Missouri.

Mrs. Messersmith is survived by her husband, George, and five children. One daughter preceeded her in death.

Funeral services were held in the Farnam Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, Rev. B. H. Hart officiated.

Mrs. Audrey Kotschwar and Mrs. Delores Nickerson sang, accompanied by Mrs. Raymond Smith. Pallbearers were: Ralph Parker, M. Enevoldsen, Weaver Cole, Lee Hudson, C. E. Pollard and Morris Wyckoff.

Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.
