Leo Walter Messersmith, the sixteen-year-old son of B. M. Messersmith of Horrell precinct died at his home June 16th. He had been a sufferer from heart trouble for several years and it has been known for some time that he could not live long. He was taken to Cambridge Saturday in the hopes of bettering his condition but they could give him no encouragement.

The end came Monday evening. He became unconscious about three o’clock in the afternoon and remained in that condition until his death about seven o’clock.

The funeral services at the Messersmith home Wednesday morning, Rev. Pysche conducting the services. Interment was made in the Farnam Cemetery.

The family and friends have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
