Funeral Wednesday for Mrs. Clifford McMichael
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Lone Star church south of town for Mrs. Clifford McMichael, who passed away Sunday at a Holdrege hospital.
Death was due to complications from a siege of the influenza.
A large number of friends were in attendance at the funeral, and the many friends of the family are grieved at the loss of their friend and neighbor.
Interment was in the Farnam cemetery.

Mrs. Clifford McMichael
Julia Anna McCarl was born near Van Wert, Decatur county, Iowa on July 16, 1893. She with her parents moved to Frontier county, Nebraska in April 1896 where she grew to womanhood and resided here until her departure on April 19, 1936 at the age of 42 years, 9 months and 3 days.
She was united in marriage to Clifford McMichael March 17, 1909. To this union twelve children were born: Mrs. Elma Calhoon, Mrs. Elsie Phillips, Richard, Alvin, Herbert, Mary, Velma, Mildred, Junior, Julia, Ruth and Ethel. Besides her husband and children she leaves to mourn her departure three sisters: Mrs. Iva McMichael, Farnam; Mrs. Mae Wagner, Los Angeles, Calif.; and Mrs. Etta Faubion, Anderson, Iowa; one brother, Roy McCarl, Stratton, Colo.; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rev. Thomas Hayes conducted the services at the Lone Star Church of The Nazarene last Wednesday afternoon and burial was made in the Farnam cemetery to await the resurrection.
