OBITUARY
Albert E. McMichael, second child of Richard and Rebecca McMichael was born August 10, 1874 on a farm near New Market, Iowa, and departed this life at his home in Farnam October 22nd, 1953, at the age of 79 years two months and twelve days.
He came to Frontier county with his parents and brothers and sisters in early childhood and here grew to manhood. He lived in this community except for two years near Nelson and the last 3½ years in Farnam.
On August 20h, 1902, he was united in marriage to Iva Zoe McCarl and to this union were born 4 daughters, Mrs. Edna Morton of Cambridge, Mrs. Emily Frank of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming; Mrs. Beulah Russell, Farnam and Mrs. Edith Morton, Palm City, California.
He had been a Christian since early manhood, wsa baptized and later joined the Lone Star Nazarene Church and faithfully attended there until illness prevented. He was always a loving husband and a kind father, a good neighbor and a friend to all who knew him. He bore his sickness without complaining.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and 4 daughters, 2 brothers, Charles of Hamburg, Arkansas, and Clifford of Cambridge, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Alspa of Nelson and Mrs. Minnie Beery of Gothenburg, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of friends. Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother, Alvie and one sister, Clara Johnson.
Funeral services were held at the Church of the Nazarene Sunday afternoon with Rev. W. R. McCroskey officiating. Interment in Farnam cemetery under supervision of Olesen Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Roland Lehman, Harold Lehman, Frank Martin, Jay Rice, Lewis Klein and Ralph Jurjens. Singers were Pauline Sukraw, Elsie Davis and Mrs. Jay Rice as pianist.
