Obituary
Billy Edward McCormack, only son of Ed and Harriet McCormack, was born in Lexington, Nebraska, on October 22, 1948. His first two years were spent in Cozad. The past year the family lived in Bridgeport, where he passed away at the hospital Thursday, November 8th at the age of 3 years and 18 days.
Although his days on earth were few he endeared himself to all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, his sister Barbara, his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bellamy and Mr. and Mrs. Ben McCormack and his great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Edward Guss. Also a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held in the Farnam Methodist church, Monday at 2:00, Elder E. E. Giesler of Moorefield in charge. Music was by Mrs. Audrey Kotschwar and Mrs. Delores Nickerson with Mrs. Raymond Smith at the piano. The two selection sung were: Jesus Loves Me and it is No Secret What God Can Do. Pallbearers were: Maurice Bellamy, Horace Bellamy, Noble Bellamy, and Kenneth Bellamy. Interment was in the Farnam cemetery. The McVay Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
