Vernie McCarl
Vernie McCarl was born in Frontier county, Nebraska July 11, 1896, and died in the Farnam hospital, January 23rd, 1929. Aged 32 years, 6 months and 12 days.
He had spent practically all of his life in the territory south of Farnam, and leaves to mourn his departure, four sisters, and one brother, namely, Mrs. Albert McMichael, Mrs. Clifford McMichael of Farnam, nebr., Mrs. Joseph Campbell of Mink, Mont., Mrs. Harry Wagner of Los Angeles, Calif., and Roy McCarl of Farnam. His father and mother and two brothers preceeded him in death [Henry McCarl]. He gave his heart to God before the operation so we hope to meet him in Glory.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of the Nazarene in Farnam, with Rev. Frank Shea, pastor of the Lone Star church officiating, and the body was laid to rest in the Farnam cemetery to await the resurrection.
