Nathan Martin died at his home 4 miles south west, Wednesday evening about 9 o’clock. Funeral services at the home Thursday at 11 o’clock a. m. conducted by Rev. Stinnette, interment in the Farnam cemetery.

Nathan Martin was born in Kentucky Dec. 17 1830, moved to Illinois when ten years of age, and to Nebraska in 1872. He became a member of the Christian church fifty nine years ago and has lived a consistent christian life: A kind father and affectionate husband; in his christian life he followed Christ’s command; “As ye would that men should do unto you do ye even so to them.” The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved wife and children.
