Roland Howard Lehman
Roland Howard Lehman was born May 1, 1906, in Frontier County, NE. to Lewis and Ida Lehman. He passed away at his home in Farnam May 23, 1981. He was married to Stella Adkisson June 20, 1928. To this union one child was born, Mildred.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, two grandchildren.
Roland was a member of the United Methodist Church in Farnam where he has served as a trustee. He served on the Co-op board, school board, ASC board and election board.
Roland spent most of his life farming and raising purebred hereford cattle on a farm south of Farnam. He took great pride in his cattle and had purebred sales. He enjoyed the friends he made through his sales.
Roland was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was always concerned about the welfare of his family and ready to do whatever he could to help them. He was a fishing and hunting companion for his grandsons and as far as health would permit was a loyal sports fan of his grandchildren. He took great interest in all his grandchildren's activities. He was a willing and loving baby sitter and playmate for his great-grandchildren.
Roland loved people. He liked to have company and visit others.
Roland leaves to mourn his passing his wife Stella; one brother, Harold and his wife Viola of Farnam; one daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Raymond Tillotson of Farnam; one granddaughter and husband, Brenda and Randy Edson of Farnam; two grandsons, Greg and Gene Tillotson of Farnam; three great-grandchildren, Crystal, Corey and Corrine Edson of Farnam; and a host of other relatives and friends.
