Mrs. Wm. LaRue, Pioneer at Ingham, Buried Here
The remains of Mrs. William LaRue, an early pioneer of the Ingham community, were brought here Monday from Sutherland, for burial in the Farnam cemetery. She moved from Cambridge to Ingham in the early ’90’s and lived there until about 12 years ago, when she moved to Sutherland. She was over 86 years of age at the time of her death, last Friday.
Funeral services were held ad Sutherland at her home, with the Rev. C. H. Kemper of Paxton, in charge. A short service was held here at the cemetery at the time of burial.
The obituary follows:
Arnestina Pahl was born in Germany, Dec. 18, 1849, and departed this life Sept. 25, 1936 at the age of 86 years, 9 months and 7 days.
At the age of 17 she came to America with her parents and two brothers, locating at Wilton, Wis.
In 1870 she was married to William LaRue, and in 1875 they moved to Cambridge, Nebr., later moving to Ingham.
To this union was born ten children of which two sons and four daughters survive.

LaRue of Sutherland, Nebr., Mrs. Elizabeth Aylsworth of Orafino, Nebr., Edwin LaRue of Upland, Calif., Mrs. Minta Hall of Douglas, Wyo., Mrs. Nancy Applegate, Hoodriver, Ore., Mrs. Alta Tillotson, of North Platte; one brother, Frank Pahl of Cambridge and one sister-in-law, Mrs. William Pahl of Kimball, Wis. Her husband, three sons and one daughter preceded her in death.
Besides her six children she leaves to mourn her loss 35 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
