Almetta V. Koogler, daughter of Andrew and Diana Koogler was born on August 15, 1864 and departed this life on January 24, 1933.

She moved from Richmond, Washington county, Iowa in the winter of 1886. She was united in marriage to George A. Land on March 23, 1886 at Odell, Gage county, Nebraska. They came to Frontier county, Nebraska the next day, where she has since resided until her death.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and four daughters, Mrs. Eva Lawrie of Sterling, Colorado, Mrs. Sadie Schelles of Moorefield, May and Fern at home.

Services were conducted at the home Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Lauren Messersmith. Interment in the Farnam cemetery.
