Audrey Maxine Kotschwar, 80, of Farnam, Nebraska, died July 17, 2011 at her home at Farnam, NE.

She was born November 13, 1930 in Moorefield, NE, daughter of Fred R. and Pearl Faith Mosley Cross.

She lived all of her life in the Moorefield, Ingham and Farnam area. She was married to Anton Kotschwar in 1947. Three sons were born to her: Dan, Gary, and Rick. She raised cats and dogs for many years for A/K Kennels.

Audrey was a very devoted Mother and Grandmother. She loved keeping up on all of their lives and attending all of the events she could make it to especially their sporting events.

Surviving are three sons - Dan (Cheryl) Kotschwar of Farnam, NE, Gary (Jody) Kotschwar of Moorefield, NE, Rick (Gwen) Kotschwar of Farnam, NE; five granddaughters - Tamara (Tim) Miles of Monument, CO, Amber (Sam) Nelson of Lincoln, NE, Cressy Kotschwar of Kansas City, MO, Gretchin (John) Heckenlively of Gretna, NE, Niccole Kotschwar of Martinez, CA; four grandsons - Kelly (Kristen) Kotschwar of Moorefield, NE, Derek (Amanda) Kotschwar of Lincoln, NE, Zachary (Kate) Kotschwar of Pearl City, HI, Christopher (Sara) Kotschwar of Colorado Springs, CO; 10 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Audrey was preceded in death by father, Fred R Cross, mother, Pearl Faith Cross, sister, Delores Bunstock, brother, Gordon Cross, brother, Roland Cross, brother, Theron Cross.

Funeral services were held at the Farnam United Methodist Church at 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 21, 2011. Burial was at the Farnam Cemetery.
