Obituary F. B. Kerr
F. B. Kerr was born March 9.1875 at Dempseytown, Penn. and died at his home in Waterloo, Iowa June 4, 1957.
He was the son of George Calvin Kerr and Elmira Berlin Kerr. He came to the Farnam vicinity in the early 1880’s.
He was united in marriage to Alta Mertyce Thompson in Holdrege, Nebraska, December 4, 1901 and lived at Farnam until 1940 when they went to Waterloo, Iowa.
He is survived by Mrs. Kerr and his children, Ruth Walters, Waterloo, Iowa, Mrs. F. F. Kinman, Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. L. P. Stear, Cozad, Nebraska, Georgia Elder, Waterloo, Iowa, Fordyce B. Kerr, Kansas City, Mo., Gary A. Kerr, Kansas City, Mo., 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
There were services at First Congregational Church in Waterloo, Iowa, Thursday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. and at the Methodist Church in Farnam, Friday, June 7, at 2 p.m.
Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.
