Arch Jorgensen
FARNAM — A resident of the Farnam area for 63 years, Arch Jorgensen, 82, died Monday in a Gothenburg hospital. He was born Feb. 28, 1897, at Edmond, Okla., and was a retired farmer and a member of Farnam Methodist Church.
Mr. Jorgensen had been a district soil conservation director in Frontier County for 23 years and had served on the board of directors of the Farnam-Eustis and Loomis Farmers Coop and the original board of directors of the Consumers Cooperative Association (Farmland Industries).
Survivors include his wife, Frances, and one brother, Dwight of Oklahama City, Okla.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the McVay Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg with the Rev. Karl L. Lent of the Farnam United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.
