Emma Jackson Answers Final Summons
Emma L. Jackson was born at Penfield, Lorain county, Ohio on April 23, 1860. She was converted in childhood and joined the Methodist Episcopal church at that place. She spent the greater part of her life at the place of her birth. She came to Farnam about four years ago and since that time has made her home with her sister, Mrs. Amy Griffis.
She had suffered many months from cancer and death came as a sweet and welcome rest to her tired body, Sunday, March 29th at 5:30 p.M. She was a very patient sufferer during her many months of sickness and pain and was ready to meet her redeemer when the end came.
She leaves to mourn her departure one brother, Charles Jackson, and one sister, Mrs. Amy Griffis, both of this place, besides a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev. J. E. Craig pastor of the Congregational church and interment was made in Farnam cemetery.
The Echo joins the many friends in extending sympathy to the sorrowing relatives and friends in this deep hour of sorrow.
