Mrs. Hirschmiller was a noble woman, having lived a clean, Christian life. She has been a member of the Farnam Baptist church for the past twenty years.
A host of very warm friends will miss her, as to know her was to love her. She was a sweet christian character, and did not look upon death as one who had no hope, but could say with the poet:
There is a land of pure delight,
Where saints immortal reign;
Infinite day excludes the night,
And pleasures banish pain.
—Isaac Watts
The body was brought to Farnam Monday afternoon and funeral services held from the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. Geo. Seick. The remains were laid to rest in the Farnam cemtery.
