Roy Heath, 85, died Thursday, May 2, 1985, at Gothenburg. He was born July 20, 1899, near Moorefield. Mr. Heath farmed in the Farnam area his entire life. He married Lena Knoedler June 28, 1923, at Hayes Center. She preceded him in death Dec. 10, 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Clayton and Donald, both of Farnam; one daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Dean) Reynolds of Farnam; three grandchildren, Monte and Toni Reynolds and Galen Heath, all of Farnam; and other relatives.

Services for Roy Heath were Monday at the McVay Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Wigert of the Farnam United Methodist Church officiating. Music was by Tom Oberg.

Pallbearers were Galen Heath, Monte Reynolds, John Hazen, Kenneth Stevens, Jay Beerman and Henry Sturgeon. Burial was in the Farnam Cemetery.

A memorial had been established to the donor's choice.
