Lena Marie Heath
Lena Marie Heath passed away in the Gothenburg Hospital on Dec. 10, 1984, at the age of 83.
Lena was born May 2, 1901, near Eustis to William D. and Wilhelmine Mueller Knoedler. She lived in the Eustis-Farnam area all her life. When she was confirmed in 1915 she joined the Methodist Church and remained a member throughout her lifetime.
On June 28, 1923, Lena Knoedler and Roy Heath were united in marriage in Hays Center, Nebraska.
Survivors who will miss her thoughtfulness and kindness are her husband Roy; two sons, Clayton and Donald; one daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Dean) Reynolds; her daughter-in-law, Evelyn (Mrs. Don Heath); her son-in-law, Dean Reynolds; and three grandchildren, Galen Heath, Monte Reynolds and Toni Reynolds all of Farnam; two brothers, O. W. and Emil Knoedler, both of Saginaw, Mich.; and two sisters, Matilda Lampman of Trenton, and Leila Humphrey of Walsh, Colo., besides a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons, three brothers and one sister.
The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, at McVay Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Wigert officiating.
Providing music for the services was Tom Oberg. Casket bearers were Monte Reynolds, Galen Heath, Jay Beerman, Raymond Buehner, Kenneth Stevens and Henry Sturgeon.
Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Farnam Methodist Church.
