Clayton Heath
Clayton R. Heath, 73, died November 30, 1999, at Gothenburg.
He was born May 10, 1926, at Eustis to Thomas LeRoy and Lena Marie (Knoedler) Heath. Clayton graduated from Farnam High School in 1943. He was in the Army from September 1, 1950, to August 30, 1952, and stationed at Camp Carson, Colorado and Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Mr. Heath farmed most of his life near Farnam and also served in the Farnam Volunteer Fire Department and was a past member of the American Legion Post #288 in Farnam.
Survivors include one brother, Donald (Evelyn), Farnam; one sister, Phyllis (Dean) Reynolds, Farnam; two nephews, Galen Heath and fiance, Laura Dailey and Monte Reynolds, all of Farnam; one niece, Toni Lee Reynolds, Farnam and one cousin, Betty Warner of Cozad.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 3, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg with Dr. William Deahl officiating. Burial was in the Farnam Cemetery.
