Death of Mrs. Clara Heath

Clara Mae Heath was born in Davenport, Iowa, July 9, 1859, and was called to her eternal reward January 3, 1942, being at the time of her death 82 years, 5 months and 25 days of age.

She was united in marriage to Ely H. Heath of Ironhill, Iowa, in September 1885. After three years they came to Moorefield, Nebraska, and a short while later took a homestead on Deer Creek south of Ingham. In later years they lived south of Farnam. During the past seven years she has made her home with her son Sam in Farnam.

Mrs. Heath was the mother of six children, thirteen grandchildren, three sisters, four brothers and other relatives and friends.

She was cared for in the home of her son the past few months by her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Maloney of Waterloo, Iowa, and her daughter-in-law.

Monday afternoon short funeral services were held at the home, followed by services at the Baptist church at two o’clock, conducted by Rev. H. Anderson of the Nazarene church, and under the direction of the Olesen Mortuary of Gothenburg.

Singers were Mrs. Grace McNickle, Mrs. Fern Mauer, Dan McNickle and David Banks, with Mrs. H. Anderson as accompanist.

Pall bearers were A. B. Carman, James Martin, Earl Maurer, Wm. Knoedler, Fred Miller and T. J. Caster. Interment was in the Farnam cemetery.
