AGED FARMER FOUND DEAD LAST FRIDAY MORNING
Relatives and friends were greatly shocked Friday morning when they were informed of the sudden death of Fletcher Hazen, who made his home alone on a farm some seven or eight miles southwest of town.
Mr. Hazen had been in poor health since having the flu last winter, but nothing serious was thought to be connected with his trouble. A neighbor, Frank Duis, was in the habit of calling on him each day, and Friday morning, went into the house to find that death had entered there during the night. It is presumed that death overtook him while preparing to go to bed, as he was partially undressed and was found lying on the floor in front of the bed.
