Christian Gottlieb Gaibler
Christian Gottlieb Gaibler, son of Christ and Caroline Gaibler, was born in Eustis, Nebraska , May 1, 1891, and passed away at the Memorial hospital, Gothenburg, Nebraska on Wednesday, June 22,1955 at the age of 64 years, 1 month and 22 days.
He was united in marriage to Myrtle A. Bick on November 27, 1913. She preceded him in death in April, 1916. He was united in marriage to Lucile Bick, November 14, 1918 at Eustis. To this union were born 2 sons and 2 daughters.
He was confirmed in the Lutheran church at Eustis. After moving to the Farnam community, he united with the Congregational church. He was a member in good standing in the Congregational church at the time of his death.
He was preceeded in death by one sister, Leila, at the age of ten years.
Mr. Gaibler is survived by his wife, Lucile Gaibler of Farnam; two sons, Lester and Orville, both of Farnam; two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Friesenborg of Gothenburg and Miss Ruth Gaibler of Farnam; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Gaibler of Eustis; three brothers, George Gaibler of Seward, Fred Gaibler of Eustis, and Elmer Gaibler of North Platte; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Bick of Moorefield, Mrs. Laura Yeutter of Eustis, Mrs. Ann Cross of Sheridan, Wyo., and Miss Emma Gaibler of Eustis; also five grandchildren, Bobby and Donald Friesenborg of Gothenburg; Allen, Floyd and Gwen Gaibler of Farnam; also a host of other relatives and friends.
Services were held in the Methodist church in Farnam on Saturday, June 25th at 2:30 in the afternoon. Rev. B.H. Hart officiated. Interment was in the Farnam cemetery. Music was furnished by Charlie, Dean, Otto, Walter, John and Fred Hueftle, and Dean Weissert with Jean Eileen Hueftle as pianist. Pallbearers were Elgie Thompson, Clifford Reynolds, Vernon Brouillette, James Hoppes, Morris Wyckoff and Henry Gewecke. The Olesens were in charge of arrangements.
