Geneva L. (Gaibler) Friesenborg
Gothenburg -- Geneva L Friesenborg, 72, who was a self employed seamstress, died March 15, 1993 at the Gothenburg Hospital.
She was born August 30, 1919 at Farnam to Christian and Lucille Bick Gaibler and was a 1937 graduate of Farnam High school. She married Alfred Friesenborg on December 1, 1939, in Lexington. They farmed in the Farnam area until 1949 when they moved to Gothenburg.
Mrs. Friesenborg was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred of Gothenburg; two sons, Bob (Judy) and Don (Sharon) both of Gothenburg; two brothers, Lester Gaibler and Orville Gaibler, both of Farnam; a sister, Ruth Sturgeon of Farnam; five stepgrandchildren, and three step greatgrandchildren.
A daughter preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Gothenburg with the Reverend Steven Todd offficiating. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the church or the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be today, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. McVay Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
