Obituary Collection
Mrs. George H. Foote Dead

Mrs. George H. Foote died of heart trouble on July 4th at her home in Farnam, Neb. Mrs. Foote will be remembered by many of the older readers of the Telegraph-Courier as Sarah J. Reynolds. She was a daughter of the late John Reynolds of Pleasant Praire and was born in Kenosha on December 5, 1847 and spent her early years in Kenosha county. In March, 1869, she was married to George H. Foote and a few years later went to Iowa to make her home. Later the family moved to Farnam, Neb., which has since been their home. Mrs. Foote’s health had been poor for some time and in May she came to her old home in Wisconsin hoping the change would prove beneficial. On June 30, accompanied by her husband, she started for her home which they reached three days before her death. Her husband, three children and several grandchildren survive her. She will be sorely missed by many relatives and friends, both here and at her home.
