Geo. H. Foote was born at Martinsburg, Lewis County, N.Y. May 15, 1844. Died at Orlando, Florida March 19, 1924, age 79 yrs 9 months and 25 days. Married to Sarah Jane Reynolds March 17, 1879, at Pleasant Prairie, Wis, to them were born five children three sons and two daughters, two sons and dear wife preceded him years ago, those left to mourn are Mrs. J. O. Tillotson, Miss Emily G. Foote and Mr. Grover Foote all of Farnam, Nebr.

In March 1880 he moved with his family from Logan Iowa to Farnam Nebr. on what is known as the Divoll place in 1892 on account of his wife’s health moved to town where he lived until her death in 1913, sold his place in town, since then has been making his home with his children, spending his winter in Cali, or Florida where the climate was warmer. Apoplexy was the cause of his death.
