Mildred L. Flynn
Mildred L. Flynn, 58, died Jan. 24, 1995, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.
She was born Jan. 16, 1937, at Cozad to Leonard and Lucille Clark Brown and was a Cozad High School graduate. She married Donzel Flynn on July 30, 1958, at Overton. They lived in Lincoln from 1960 to 1984 when they moved to Farnam.
Mrs. Flynn worked as a cook at Kirk's Nebraskaland Restaurant in Lexington, the Circle S in Cozad and the Homestead Restaurant in Gothenburg and also for Nebraska Plastics in Cozad.
Survivors include a son, Douglas D. of Farnam; two daughters, Jennie (David) Irner of Lincoln and Sheila Flynn of Sumner; a brother, Kenneth Brown of Cozad; three sisters, Wilma Putnam of Cozad, Dorothy Knight of Monroe, La., and Ardith Weber of Cozad; and four grandchildren.
Her husband preceded her in death in August 1987.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Blase Memorial Chapel with Pastor John Bowlby officiating. Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Friday.
Blase Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg is in charge of arrangements.
