Mrs. Clara Fitch passed away Monday evening in the Soldiers and Sailors Home at Grand Island following a lingering illness. She was born Oct. 4, 1874 at Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and had resided in North Platte 20 years. Surviving are a son, Harrison of Brush, Colo.; her sisters, Mrs. Mayme Denham of this city and Mrs. Sadie Hall of Pinedale, Wyo.; and her brothers James Shaw of Florence and Charles Shaw of Omaha. A prayer service was held at 11 o’clock this morning at the Adams Funeral chapel. The remains were taken to Farnam for services and interment.
