Florence L. Eckstein of Farnam passed away on Sunday, Dec. 16, 1973 at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for some time. A native of Gothenburg, born Aug. 4, 1900, she was 73.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Eckstein of Farnam; her mother, Mrs. Hannah Moore of Gothenburg; two sisters: Mrs. Minnie Banks of Clarion, Iowa, and Mrs. Fern Grady of Gothenburg, and her many friends.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon at McVay Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Carroll Swenson and Rev. Leonard Clark officiating. Mrs. Harold Bick and Mrs. Robert Speck sang, with Mrs. Raymond Smith, accompanist. Pallbearers were Leon Kotschwar, Max McNickle, George Edson, Harold Lehman, Russell Wilcox and Raymond Smith. Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery.
