Frank G. Duis Passes Away
Frank G. Duis, passed away at his home south of Farnam, Wednesday evening of last week, after several months of illness. Mr. Duis had been afflicted with rheumatism for the past few years. He was born March 6, 1868 in Germany and passed away, July 10, 1935 at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 4 days.
He came to America in 1886 from Germany, moving to Farnam about twenty–eight years ago.
He was married to Miss Dena Rosendahl, February 27, 1912, and to this union four children were born.
Those surviving him are his widow, two sons, George, and Frank, Jr.; two daughters Tena and Grace; one brother, George Duis, of Spring Ranch, Nebr.; and one sister, in Germany.
Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon, at the Farnam Methodist church, with Rev. C. R. Tanner in charge. Burial was in the Farnam cemetery.
