Seibeld Dircksen was born in Germany, March 22, 1854, passed from this life June 12, 1915, at the age of 61 years, two months and 21 days. The funeral services were held in the Farnam Baptist church Sunday, June 13 at 3:00 p. m., conducted by Pastor C. A. Irvin.

Mr. Dircksen was well known in the community having lived here for a number of years. He was loved and respected by all for his kindly deeds and ever ready sympathy for those in trouble. He lived an earnest Christian life and met death bravely, saying, "It is the will of God that I should go."

Mr. Dircksen was a loving, devoted husband and father. He leaves a sorrowing wife, 13 children, with a host of friends to mourn his loss.
