Final Rites for Rebecca Devine
Funeral services were held on Monday, June 30, 1969, for Mrs. Albert (Rebecca M.) Devine, who passed away on June 27 at Cozad.
Mrs. Devine was born March 24, 1891 at Deshler, Nebraska, and had lived in the Cozad community for the past thirty years.
She was united in marriage to Albert C. Devine, August 31, 1920, at North Platte, Nebraska. To this union five sons were born. One son, Loren preceded her in death, as did her husband, Albert, and her parents, Francis and Sadie Hilton.
Mrs. Devine is survived by four sons: Gilbert and Dale of Cozad and Wayne and Morris of Gothenburg; nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter; three brothers; Elmer and Roy Hilton of Cozad and Charles Hilton of Staton, Oregon.
Reverend Keith A. Shepherd officiated at the services. held at the Methodist Church at 2:00 o’clock Monday afternoon. Soloist was Mrs. Robert Atchison. Her accompanist was Mrs. Dale Brownfield.
Casket bearers were Ronald Devine, Lennis Devine, Bradley Devine, Randy Devine, Steven Devine and Timothy Devine.
Interment was in the Farnam Cemetery, with Berryman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
