Margarete (Walker) Dawson

Mrs. Margarete Walker Dawson was born at Table Rock, Nebraska, December 11th, 1884, and departed this life in Omaha, Nebraska, January 20th, 1919: age 34 years, one month and nine days.

She had been ailing since about Christmas time and continually grew weaker until advised to go to the hospital as the last resort, she was accompanied by Mrs. John Dawson, who stayed by her until she passed away. Death was caused from operation shock. The body was brought to Farnam Tuesday morning and the funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church of which she was a member.

She was well known to the people of Farnam, having spent the most of her life in this vicinity until the last two years when they made their home near Ingham.

She was united in marriage to Edwin S. Dawson, January 6th, 1904; to this union was born three children, two boys and one girl.

She was a kind and loving mother, always making them happy whenever possible; she was a great lover of making the home a sacred place to live.

She leaves to mourn, a husband, three children, a mother, two brothers and one sister. Her mother, brothers and sister are living in Canada.
