Edwin S. Dawson
Edwin S. Dawson, an early day settler of the Ingham community, was killed at Brady Friday night when struck by a westbound Union Pacific mail train at a railroad crossing and was thrown 245 feet.
Those who investigated the accident said that he apparently was crossing the tracks and failed to see the approaching train.
A couple of years ago he moved from Ingham to Minnesota with his son Clyde but returned to Brady to make his home.
He is survived by his son Clyde, a son Delbert of Colorado and a daughter Esther of Washington D. C. and a sister at Gothenburg.
