GOTHENBURG — Merle W. Crossgrove, 87, Gothenburg, died Sunday in a Kearney hospital. He was born May 17, 1884 in Westfield, N.Y.

Survivors include his wife, Virgie; two daughters, Mrs. Louise Noble and Mrs. Dorothy Mammato, both of Kearney; four grandchildren; one brother, Lynn Crossgrove, Lincoln; two sisters, Mrs. Nora LaBounty, Farnam and Mrs. Jennie Messersmith, Midland, Tex.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the McVay Funeral Chapel in Gothenburg with Miss Pauline Lovelass and Miss Karolyn Bartlett, Kearney, officiating.

Burial will be in the Farnam Cemetery.
