Kay, three year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Cross climbed up to the top of the cabinet Saturday evening while her mother was out of the house and the father was in town and took a drink from a bottle of strychnine.

When found shortly after by the mother, home treatments were used and a trip started to a doctor at Eustis, but before arriving there the child passed away.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, with Rev. McCaig officiating and burial was in Farnam cemetery.
