Dorothy Cole Services Are On Wednesday
Dorothy A. Cole, wife of Weaver Cole, passed away on Monday, October 6, 1975, in a Grand Island hospital. Born in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Dec. 5, 1896, she was 78.
She was a long-time resident of Farnam, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Weaver Cole of Farnam; three sons: Dale of North Palm Beach, Florida; Donald “Jack” of Rapid City, S. D., and Kenneth of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs. Jean McNickle of Manhattan, Kansas; 11 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon in the First United Methodist Church of Farnam, with Rev. Leonard Clark, officiating. Music was by Mrs. Audrey Kotschwar and Mrs. Deloras Nickerson, with Mrs. Evelyn Davis as organist. The pallbearers were Gerald Thompson, LeRoy Tillotson, Ray Stickelman, Dale Montgomery, Richard Edson and Jack Martin. Interment was in Farnam Cemetery.
