Montie Delmar Cloyd, 68, died Sunday, May 17, 1959 at the Gothenburg Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1891 at Glengary, Fillmore County, Nebraska to Robert and Celinda (Palmer) Cloyd. He has been a resident of the Farnam and Gothenburg communities for the last half century.

He is survived by his wife, Otis Belle (Estes) Cloyd; a son, Harry L. Cloyd of Pasadena, California; three daughters, Mrs. Eva (John) Sabin of Gothenburg, Mrs. Mabel (Sylvester) Tunnison of Maxwell, and Mrs. Hazel Helen (Hubert) Bacon of Willow Island.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Olesen Funeral Home in Gothenburg with the Rev. Bryan C. Johnson officiating.

Burial was in the Farnam Cemetery.
