Obituary Collection
Clyde Buss

The people of this town were startled last Saturday morning as seldom before, on receipt of the word that Clyde Buss had passed away. For a single week he did valiant battle with the “common enemy of man,” aided by all that fond parents, faithful friends, and skilled physicians could do. With him the light of a bright life went out. Yet not in the gloom of darkness. From the first he seemed to feel the approaching change, and guided by wise counsel, while in full possession of his faculties, he “anchored his soul, in the haven of rest.” Not always is this privilege granted to youth of fifteen. Perhaps it was to him a reward for purity of life. As one testifies of him “I never heard an unclean word or so much as a by–word fall from his lips” and it is said of him, he never deserved reproof from teacher or guide. Keep thy heart with all diligence. Prov. 4:23.
