Mildred Brouillette, 74, of Farnam, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1990, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church with Rev. John Mika officiating. Rosary was recited Sunday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Catholic Church in Farnam. Burial was in the Farnam Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Leon Kotschwar, Gene Bosch, Marvin McMichael, Wray Lydic, Russ Wilcox and Clyde Kotschwar. Doris Geiken was the organist.

Brouillette was born on March 14, 1915 at Farnam, the daughter of Ralph and Ruth Earhart. She graduated from Farnam High School and attended Kearney State College. She taught school for over 25 years in the Farnam, Gothenburg, Eustis and Ingham areas. She was married to Vernon Brouillette on Jan 11, 1936, at Farnam.

She was a member of the Farnam American Legion Auxiliary, the Silver Dollar Club and the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farnam. She was a lifetime resident of the Farnam area and was active in the Farnam Library.

Survivors include her husband, Vernon of Farnam; one son, Douglas of San Angelo, TX; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and one daughter.

Memorials may be made to the Farnam Library.
