Andrew Blackwood, 72, a former resident of the Farnam community, passed away Monday at Denver, Colorado where he had made his home for the last several years.

Mr. Blackwood operated a meat market in Farnam several years, he also had a store in Moorefield and one in Ingham before moving to Denver where he was associated with a sporting goods store.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Velma Blackwood, of Denver; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Shelley, of Winter Park, Colorado; a brother, Floyd Blackwood, of San Jose, California.

Graveside services will be held Friday, at 2:00 p.m. in the Farnam Cemetery.
